Beijing Chongwenmen church, built in 1870, is the United States of America Methodist Church (Methodist) churchestablished the first in Beijing and even in the wholeNorth China hall. Then called Yayse hall. To commemorate the Methodist first went to South Americamissionary bishop of Asbury. The church was built, and the appearance of now, only the scale is small, can only accommodate four or five people. With the increasing number of believers, in 1880 the Methodist Church rebuilt on its original site, in 1882 the new hall is completed. Thehall in the summer of 1900, were burned in the Boxer Rebellion in 1902, the Qing government funding to rebuild the Asbury church, built in the spring of 1904.This is today's church.
